'Too Much Sun' Soothing Spray

Regular sun exposure is essential for optimizing our immune system and boosting mental health. Just 15-20 minutes a day can easily contribute to our daily vitamin D needs. Of course, our proximity to the equator and the amount of melanin in our skin can affect how much we can be exposed to safely and how much vitamin D we individually produce, but we can all agree that regular sunshine is ideal.

But what about when we get too much of a good thing?

It happens to all of us. In fact, just last week we went hiking with our nature group and I left the house without my hat. I don’t typically burn easily, but there was no shade and we were out for hours. I made sure to use this spray on my arms and added a drop of lavender and frankincense to my face moisturizer that night. Boom - this helped soothe the inflammation and calm the heat while supporting healthy healing.

So next time you get too much sun and need relief, make this after-sun soothing spray. It utilizes a few of the top 10 essential oils everyone should have on hand.
