Simple-Speedy-Smooth: Vitamix Hummus

JUMP TO RECIPE

What's the easiest way to eat more raw colorful veggies?? Add a dip of course! Hummus is a staple in my house and I love using our (15-year-old!) Vitamix blender.

Super simple. Super Speedy. Super smooth.

The ratios are the same for a reason - I like recipes I can memorize easily and basically repeat in my sleep. Okay, maybe not literally...only my middle son sleepwalks, but I assume you have mombie days too. And only dirtying one measuring cup just makes me happy for some reason.

I bet you’ll have it memorized in no time too ;)

Trader Joe’s Tahini is so good. Literally jumped for joy when they started carrying it! This olive oil is great for dressings and hummus - it has a light, neutral flavor. It won’t overpower or make things taste bitter.

Trader Joe’s Tahini (sesame seed paste) is so good. I literally jumped for joy when they started carrying it regularly! This olive oil is my favorite for dressings and hummus - it has a light, neutral flavor. It won’t overpower or make things taste bitter.

Halve the recipe if needed, but doubling feels like a no-brainer when getting an appliance dirty IMO. If you have a smaller family, consider making this big batch before a picnic, bbq, potluck, or dinner party (the perfect healthy appetizer)! I always feel on top of the world when I can prep something to share with friends AND have a healthy snack prepped for the week. And I can pretty much guarantee at least one person at the gathering will ask you for the recipe ;)

My favorite veggies to dip in hummus are cucumbers, carrots, bell peppers, radishes, and broccoli. My kids love almond flour crackers, pita crackers, pita…or their fingers. My 3 year old is still known for double-dipping. So she gets her own little bowl.
What’s your favorite thing to dip in hummus?
